Lyndee found this little rock ~ It's about 3" tall and the cross is actually part of it. It is sitting on our fireplace mantel and I just love, love, love it!
Preparing to fly...
w a widow, Doda invi
ted us to bring the dogs and visit her in Sonoita. She has a very secluded 40 acres and a beautiful adobe home! This is Doda with the white hair - she jumped on her quad and we followed her to her barn..zoom zoom :) She is admirable in her independence and spunk!
National Forest land. Seven acre parcels that are beautiful ~and probably quite expensive! Here are a few glimpses of the d

Driving home from Tucson this evening, I pulled over on Dragoon Road and took this photo of the moon as it crested over the mountain. We were en route home from the UofA vs OR State basketball game, aways an exciting event! Instead of Mike going with me, a friend from Hood River who also has a winter home here in Sunsites, and who attended OR State, was my companion... I feel very fortunate to sit in those wonderful seats at the basketball game!
After an afternoon of golf, we took a drive to look at property... we came across this little buck and he just kind of toyed with us for a couple miles.. Isn't he a pretty sight out in the middle of the desert!? Below is Mike checking out the property we were trying to find... 3 acres for only $10,000!
Seemed like every direction we looked was beautiful... the pink mountains in the photo below are the Chiricahua's... looking east... What some may see as desolate, I found breathe-taking!
